...they'd clobber the Gamecocks...

I'm beginning to believe more and more as the season goes on that Spurier put almost his entire season planning into beating Bama. We won't fall for his tricks again just like we won't fall for Auburn's flea flicker/on-side kick tricks again. I can't WAIT for the REAL National Championship Game - The Iron Bowl. I'll enjoy singing Rammer Jammer come Nov 6.

I attended the game in 1982..truly amazing experience..and War Eagle won...

And what happened the next week to South Carolina, they lost to Kentucky.

Yes a Boise State could go in and beat Bama on a given Saturday. But then they would have to keep themselves mentally up week after week, to avoid the letdowns. There are no pushovers in the SEC, especially on the road. You can probably count on having your “A-Game” maybe 2,3 games max during the course of a season, the rest, you have to win on sheer talent, and sometimes luck.
