Trainer D. Wayne Lukas, while slightly skeptical of Zenyattas achievements, says, If she comes back here (in the Classic) and does it on the dirt, I think itll stamp her. If she whips them twice in the Classic on two different surfaces, I would say youd have to mention her with Spectacular Bid and Secretariat and stuff.

She still hasn’t beaten anybody and her speed figures are uninspiring. I’ll try to beat her.
Zenyatta is a great mare and I commend her owners for racing her this long. D. Wayne has a lot to do with this, as he’s not afraid to run the fillies. Rachel Alexander is also a great mare and has beaten the boys on more than one occasion. Let’s hope for a safe race and a Zenyatta win!
As Bob Seger once said, "I love to watch her strut".
