Nice toss. Strike, looked like he barely tried, too. Quite a contrast to zero.
They also showed Barbara Bush scoring the game in the bottom of the first. That was excellent.
Bush 41 had a cane, looked like he wasn’t doing great, but had a big smile!

It was a beautiful thing to watch. Crowd went wild. Dubya even gave a salute to the military that saluted him & his Dad.
Very Classy!

I saw it. Saw all the military out there. And I know...I KNOW...that W would love to have shaken the hand of every last one of them...but then the game would never have started.
P.S. Who’s playing? /just kidding

“looked like he barely tried, too”
BTW, by that, I meant he didn’t have to work up to it, rather it was very natural. It’s a compliment.

I’d almost forgotten the feeling I had while watching that.
Not sure if anyone else knows what I’m talking about, but that was great, thanks for posting this (no TV where I am).

Dear W,
Did I always agree with you? No way.
Was I confident in you during 9/11? Absolutely.
Did I ever doubt your love for this country? Never.
Can you throw a baseball unlike some we know? ;)
Do I miss ya now??? D$m* skippy.

That forgotten feeling?
Pride in Presidents who, while not perfect, still clearly loved and respected their country and the troops who served.

Touching scene. Texans showed genuine affection for both presidents.

Time for the bullpen.

What made me a bit misty eyed was seeing Barbara and Laura snapping shots of their husbands.
Unlike liberals, conservatives actually love their spouses and see them as a part of their lives, but just a political stepping stone.
