Free Republic Troll Influx
October 31, 2010 | This Just In

Posted on 10/30/2010 10:51:41 PM PDT by This Just In

Good evening, Freepers. As election day approaches I have been noticing a lot of noobies on Free Republic. A number of these youngsters have made no attempt to hide their Troll status, while others have worked to be a bit more creative in an effort to be incognito in order to blend in.

One of the best examples I've found was in reading a noobs About page recently. In this About, I was greeted with a life-size portrait of Sarah Palin. I can only assume the Troll figured we Freepers are of an unsophisticated palate, lacking in a discerning eye. This noob probably figured, "Yeah, I'll lose their trackers, and those friggin' "IBTZ" jerks, if I post a hugh Sarah Palin photo. That'll throw them off. I'm so knarly."

For you Troll's out there; here's some advice: Don't bother.

And for my fellow Freepers, give no quarter to the enemy. There is a whole lot at stake this election, which is why you have the feds feeding us Chicken Little terror threat stories, a bogus "Sanity"(It should have been title 'Sanitary')Rally, Obama looking under rocks and bridges for potential voters, Socialist/Communists involved in voter fraud, the MSM in propaganda overdrive, and, of course, Trolls coming out of the woodwork.

America, let's bring true change to this country on election.

God bless you, and God bless America.

Romney is nothing more than a political opportunist...pretty much the same as Obama.

Our Mizz Kitty killed a rat the other day! I think she knows it’s election season and is getting into the groove.

Sounds like the story of Harley-Davidson right up to the eighties. But Studebaker, now there's a badge that shouldn't have croaked. Not troll-related, I know, but the '53 and up Hawks were some gorgeous cars.

All 4 are good picks. And yeah, why not Christine 2012? She’s great, I love her, why not. That probably won’t happen.

What is likely though if she wins and wins again in 2014, she’ll be on VP short lists, if we don’t win in 2012. If she wins, she’ll be on peoples VP lists here in 2012.

And honestly, I think you need a little bit more experience to be Senator than President. Christine would get that experience by being in the Senate, but she doesn’t have that experience quite yet, so it might be premature for her to announce her candidacy for President shortly after joining the US Senate. But, again, why not?

I would think that Sarah will run and all the conservatives will get behind her. It’s the most reasonable outcome.

When was the last time the Republican leader (and Palin is pretty much that) then went on to run for President?

McCain was not the Republican leader. Most people here didn’t like him. There just wasn’t a convincing enough Conservative choice.

W. wasn’t the Republican leader. People didn’t really know him in Nov 1998 - they knew his dad.

Dole wasn’t the Republican leader in 1994. Gingrich was.

Reagan was the Conservative leader in 1980.

Palin is the Conservative leader in 2010.

When I think of a troll, can’t help but think of the best scene from the Holy Grail. Considered to be a classic in the archives of Comedy. Can one of you “Freepers” make a photo-shop of that scene using a Cat in place of the Bridge Troll? And maybe have Charlie Quisp trying to answer the three questions! that would be Histerical! WHAT IS YOUR PARTY? WHAT GENDER IS BARNEY FRANK? lol

You probably have a Sarah Palin picture on your About page.

Good design wears well. That original Raymond Loewy ‘53 Starlight Coupe was very good design. Widely imitated around the world. It held up through getting a Mercedes-Benz grille grafted onto it (they partnered with MB for a while), into tailfins and back out again, finally with a squared off formal roofline, not a bad looking one in the bunch if you’re talking hardtop coupes, all the way to Studebaker’s sad demise in ‘66.

I am still waiting to see what Pence decides to do,he will either become Governor of Indiana or President. If he runs for President,I am still convinced he will take it all. (just haven’t decided on his VP yet.) 2nd choice is Thune, and he may not decide till January.

Many of the trolls signed up in Aug and Sept last year. Then several have signed up in the last couple months. They must have received a memo from the DNC. I think it’s funny that they think we don’t know :)

They’ll probably lose it/out themselves on Tuesday when they get creamed or not come back until the next election.

“We have a reputation to uphold. And besides, the mod’s allow us to play with the dead troll all night long. It’s a hoot even after the Troll’s essence has expired, and it serves as a warning to other trolls.”

LOL!

I sure can. A Mitt Romney presidency is the last nail in the coffin.

The Golden Hawk, fitted with Packard's powerful big-block 352 cubic inch 275 hp (5.8 L) V8, was the best all-around high performance car of 1956. Some feel by installing the largest V8 in the smallest lightest body, Studebaker created the first muscle car eight years before the GTO. It had the second highest power-to-weight ratio of any American production car. Contemporary road tests verified the Golden Hawk was faster/quicker in the 1/4 mile than the Corvette, Thunderbird and Chrysler 300B. In top speed, only the Chrysler 300B could equal it.

Yep, still has the original Starlight Coupe hardtop roofline, with the MB grille and just barely sprouting tailfins. Good looking car. I’ve seen one in a sort of metallic grey and off white two tone paint scheme with a tritone red, silver and off white interior that was very striking.

Whether they gain or lose this election, you can be sure that the trolls will be here with their drive-by threads and diaper rash rants.
