Yeah, I thought that also.

But, then why do they need to book another 300 rooms in other hotels, if there are vacant deluxe rooms in the Taj???

Same reason all of the leadership of Congress can’t travel on the same plane. You spread ‘em out, makes it harder to take ‘em all out with one attack.

Because the president has to be kept secure. The CEOs and other guests are not part of the presidential entourage, so they have to be kept at a different hotel. While the Zer0 could (and should) have gone with a smaller, more defensible hotel, I don’t have any issue with this.
