I divorced in 2004 after 17 years. Two girls. They got tired of the fighting and told US that they didn’t want to keep living there if we stayed together.
I left a week later. It hurt for a while, I had never been single as an adult (got married at 18) and it took me some time to try to figure out who I am and what I want. Recently remarried a woman that I had been dating for a year and to this day, no arguments. She’s really been a blessing and even my girls (now grown) and I have gotten a lot closer.
It gets better.

Thank you for the kind words. Intersting we rarely argued, she just said she wanted to be on her own (with me footing the bill btw). Turns out she was cheating. I have met another wonderful woman who has brought so many great things to my life (spiritually).
