Hate crime! I’m laughing. I’ve had some pretty awful stuff in my day too but nothing that bad!

For my “poison of choice”, I just melt some chocolate in the microwave and have a little 1-person fondue with whatever I feel like dipping that day. Diced pumpernickel bread goes surprisingly well dipped in chocolate.

“Have you ever had Hershey bar chocolate pie?”

No, but I’ve downed a fair number of Hershey bars.

My wife makes two of these for Thanksgiving every year. One for us and one for my sis and BIL. He LOVES this pie.

Hershey bar Pie

1 8 OZ Hershey Almond bar
Graham cracker (or chocolate) pie crust
1/3 cup milk
1 ½ cup mini marshmallows (or 15 large)
1 cup heavy cream

Break chocolate bar into small pieces and chop almonds
(If desired, save some chocolate pieces to spread on top)
Melt chocolate with milk in a double boiler
Add marshmallows and stir until melted
Cool completely
Whip cream until stiff
Fold into the chocolate mixture
Spoon into crust
Chill until firm

LOL!

We only had it once, and it really is pretty bad, but I didn’t realize it actually included the turds.

I don’t understand why some folks like it so much.

OTOH, maybe my in-laws regifted it to us. Who knows?

ROFLMAO!

I love that, so thanks for the link to Amazon. Great reviews, lots of funny prose, and some really, really unhealthful recipes. I can’t wait to get it.

French fries dipped in hot fudge sauce is pretty awesome, too.

At least it was when I was in college.

LOL!

I’ll just take the pumpkin pie. And may I have some pumpkin pie with that, please?

That looks completely unappetizing. I’ll stick with homemade pumpkin pie with fresh whipped cream, thanks.

Cucumbers, Swiss cheese, avacado and tomato slices, along with tortilla chips all seem to lose their own flavor when dipped in chocolate, but the chips retain the texture.
