Yes—Cut it into two at Santa Maria — Let the North have San Fransisco-Sacramento and the Liberal North. We call the new state South California. The Capital could be Ventura where they have a cool City Hall that could be uses as a state capital building (it even looks a bit like one). We can elected conservatives and repudiate the State debts.
