ahahaa, like that one.
We have both Windows 7 and OS X at home... and I find Windows is still a more productive and enjoyable experience.
Also, I’ve gotten a bit tired of the gray metallic UI theme in OS X... also tired of the fact that Apple won’t let you change it. UI themes are completely locked down, and you get only two options.

If you think you cant change OS Xs appearance, then you havent looked hard enough for solutions. Im running a custom theme right now.

Many of the OS X visual components can be edited with the Gimp (or any reasonable graphics editor.

I hear ya’ on that. I miss the bright colors and such in Aqua on my iTunes and the like.
Years ago I used Now Menus to change the themes, but I think they closed their doors.
See ya’,

UI themes are completely locked down, and you get only two options.Apple rightly likes for the look and feel be universal. I used to install a lot of helpers and custom things, then when I went to work on someone else's computer, strangely they didn't behave correctly. The things I had installed and used became part of my experience, so I would have to un-remember my installed helpers/shortcuts.
