Store it in a quart sized zip lock plastic bag to virtually eliminate the evaporation problem.....if you don’t have quart size, a gallon size will do almost as well.......

We learned in the military, when going out of “your comfort zone” .....have two zippo lighters. Take masking tape, or medical tape out of your first aid kit and tape one shut. That way you should have almost 4 weeks or so of lighter capability. Extra flints under the cotton wading and you are set.

No way do you want even a small container of flammable or combustible liquid on or about your person.

I still have 3 zippo lighters that I use. My wife just bought me a Calibri lighter for my cigars. Just for old
times sake I keep my main 2 zippos filled and use them every once in awhile so they do not feel left out after all these years.
