Police trapped him in a carefully planned sting
An Egyptian imam who used BlackBerry services to connect with women whom he lured to have sex with him was netted in a police sting operation.
Facing charges in a Dubai court, the 34-year-old imam allegedly lured an yet-to-be-determined number of women into the trap he laid using the BlackBerry Messenger service.
According to the case sheet, the imam used to send pornographic pictures to women he targeted.
He however denied the charges and sought a lawyer.
An Emirati first lieutenant testified that police worked on a tip-off about the imam seducing women through the BlackBerry service.
An undercover policeman acted as a woman, Mariam, and engaged the unsuspecting imam in a series of messages that led to his arrest.
The policeman who posed as the girl testified that the imam started discussing sex and sought a meeting at a hotel where he had booked a room.
He was arrested at the hotel and a sex toy recovered. On realising he was cornered, the imam tried to erase the messages from his BlackBerry handset.
The imam later admitted during police interrogation that he had chatted with the policeman SM, who posed as Mariam.
The trial will resume on December 1.
He thought the women were all little boys.
Samrtphones! Is there nothing they can’t do!
“An Egyptian imam who used BlackBerry services to connect with women whom he lured to have sex with him”
I didn’t know that Brett Favre was an Imam!
The newest form of jihad? Cyber dating?
I’m sick of this islamic rubbish.
Imans hump goats & boys only.
They serve only one purpose: To lie.
Otherwise, once that’s removed from their useless life, their true nature built around the debauchery of the korap surfaces like shit unable to flush.
Rubbish!
Sounds like the Islamic version of Brett Favre. Transmitting photos of his junk to his 72 virgins.
In America it's called RAPE.
The women responded to pornographic pictures sent by phone, and you think they were raped?
Since when is sending pornographic images to women the equivalent of seduction?
Damn. Try to keep up P-mom. If the women were “lured” and are of age, it’s dating. If the women were tricked and the man just “had sex” with them (against their will), it’s rape.
YOU try to keep up.
Women appeared at his hotel room after being sent pornographic pictures and then discussing sex. What do you think they thought they were doing there, exactly?
There is NO mention of rape in that article.
She needs to kick him hard in the groin and give him a couple more black berries.
Good grief. These are ISLAMIC women. The paper can’t imply that the women were looking for sex.
What kind of “business” starts off with pornographic pictures?
