He has appeared on or written for the New York Times, Christian Science Monitor, Market Place, ABC, CNN, CNN International, Radio Canada, TPMCafe, and other media.
As I understand it there is also a second fund that pays for equipment and upgrades and stuff. really.
They should be defunded and their Tax Exempt status removed.
Let them then become the Soros Network (That is if Soros can get a license, which I doubt in a GOP majority congress)

How much of the 65 Million is sent from local back to national NPR for programming - fees, etc.?
Just from the CPB (there are probably other funds too) it looks like around $400 million for NPR/PBS for a year.
We know about; The Federal Reserve, Fannie Mae& Freddie Mac and PBS.
How many other PRIVATE CORPORATIONS are funded by the American public?
Repealing these monstrosities should be the first order of business, except that Soros will buy them while they are junk.
We shouldn’t be funding the local stations either. It’s all part of NPR. Lump it all together.
Looking to close the circle.
NPR will say only 1-2% of NPR is funded by taxpayers.
It’s not.
There’s money being funneled back and forth from local to national - national to local.
Open all the books.

What gets totally lost in this discussion is that CPB is REQUIRED by its original 1948 charter to remain apolitical since it receives public funds!
Over the years, its been totally, slowly transformed into a leftist, anti-American organization under the guise of providing an available “alternative” to the corporate network’s messages.
Years ago, I produced a couple of aviation pilot shows that did really well in the smaller PBS markets, but the major urban markets refused to touch it as it showcased those individuals who persevered and achieved. Although we featured women as well, apparently it didn’t have enough minority content for major market penetration.
I guess they weren’t interested in reality programming without an agenda...
The act is codified into law under 47 USC 396. The Corporation for Public Broadcasting was created under this act and is the umbrella organization that funds NPR and governs NPR.
For years, NPR has been in violation of 47 USC 396(g)(1)(B) which states:
In order to achieve the objectives and to carry out the purposes of this subpart, as set out in subsection (a) of this section, the Corporation is authorized to—
(A) facilitate the full development of public telecommunications in which programs of high quality, diversity, creativity, excellence, and innovation, which are obtained from diverse sources, will be made available to public telecommunications entities, with strict adherence to objectivity and balance in all programs or series of programs of a controversial nature;
Vivian Schillers attacks on Juan Williams violate provisions of the Public Broadcasting Act, as well as past NPR commentators that have attacked politicians.
Now.. I don't expect any of these provisions to be enforced by this administration or any other... follow the money...
However, the entire act needs to be repealed, never to show its ugly face again.
