They're amazing. One used to walk up to me and smack me on the leg when it wanted something.
Beautiful animal.
Long, too.

The Delaware senate race is so odd. One candidate says she was a teen age witch and now the other says he is the world;s longest cat.

My 12 y.o. daughter has a cat that we believe is half Maine Coon. She had a Siamese mother and has the blue eyes and coloring of a Siamese (along with the whiny meow, LOL). She is quite large and has the coat of a Maine Coon. Gracie (the cat) looks like a little lion.

Doesn't surprise me, big Maine Coon fan that I am. Here's my own "long" cat, my Maine Coon Bijou.

I have a 17 year old Maine Coon named Max. He is one of the nicest smartest cats I have ever known.
Friendly to everyone and a good cat to greet and meet a new cat addition to the house.

I love Maine Coons. We have two with very different personalities. One is big, fat, and lazy but also very companionable and loves to snuggle with my wife and daughter when they nap; he’s a gigantic furry teddy bear. The other is skinny as a rail and still a bit scared even after seven years (he’s a rescue) but loves to jump up in my lap and lie down and purr.
They’re wonderful animals. “Companionable” is the word I hear thrown around most often about the breed, and in our case, that’s an understatement!
