The 12” Powerbook, as in the entire line of 12” Powerbooks, will no longer be supported?

Oh how I wish they could cram a 13” MacBook Pro logic board into a 12” Powerbook case.

Best laptop size Apple EVER made, imho.

The 12” Powerbook was a nice design; the 12” iBook only slightly less so. Unless, that is, you wanted to replace or upgrade something. I replaced hard drives three different times on two different 12” iBooks, and it’s a nightmare of several different sizes of tiny screws.

One repair tech told me there was a running joke about repairing those laptops “efficiently” by ending up with screws left over.

The Macbook [/Pro] is a lot easier to deal with. The hard drive is a user-upgradable part without messing with your warranty.
