Microsoft is hanging it’s hopes upon giant icons?

I played with one a couple of weeks ago. A friend of mine that works in a related area at Microsoft showed me one. It’s very good. His was a way-early dogfood version, but I can see that it’s going to be a serious competitor.
I’m a blackberry guy myself, and just got a Torch, which I just love. I tried an iPhone for a month or so... but it just fails in corporate integration, management and security.
