Dancing With the Stars week 5 performance show is Oct. 18, and it could mean that Bristol Palin is eliminated on Oct. 19. The past two weeks have seen her and dancing partner Mark Ballas consistently at the bottom of the weekly scoreboard.
Both times Palin and Ballas have been just ahead of the lowest scoring couple, getting saved each week, despite being placed in jeopardy by the combination of judges' scores and audience home votes.
Last week, Palin and Ballas were eighth place out of nine couples, just ahead of The Situation and Karina Smirnoff during week 4 of Dancing With the Stars. It was down to these two couples at the end of the show, and it was The Situation and Smirnoff who were sent home.
The previous week, Palin and Ballas were just ahead of Margaret Cho and Louis Van Amstel, but it was Cho and Van Amstel who went home. Now all of the low-scoring couples have been voted off the show, leaving Palin and Ballas very vulnerable at the bottom of the scoring so far this season.
As with any reality competition show, things can shift from week to week, and it could lead to Palin and Ballas putting up their best scores of the season.
So far in the season, Palin and Ballas have averaged a score of 18 out of 30, which isn't good by any stretch of the imagination. Maybe this is the week where they really impress the judges, though, making their elimination a rash prediction.
The Oct. 18 Dancing With the Stars performance begins at 8 p.m. on ABC, with the promotions for the show stating that they will all be dancing to TV theme songs.

I sure wish I knew what Shows that all their costumes are supposed to represent tonight. I think I saw maybe “Happy Days”, and could not figure out any of the others.
If you dont like it why are you here? I dont suppose you would suggest that its the one looking who has the problem with lust would you?
I’ve seen a few articles about the competition shows that claim it’s a disadvantage for contestants to perform earlier, rather than later, in the show. The theory goes that most viewers (especially the young ‘uns who are likely voters) have short attention spans. Sometimes they’ll just vote for who they remember the most, which is often the contestants who performed the latest in the show.
It would be fair.
GOt a weird message when I tried to get phone set up to call...anyone else?
I thought it was perfect for our favorite dancing girl!
Brandy danced very well.

Jennifer Gray looked 1950s to me. I think the dances tonight are fun.
We get 8 votes online and for each phone.
She certainly needs to lose weight and hit the gym. He legs are pretty flabby and she shows too much of them.
What were Bristol’s scores tonight? Did she do well?
