“The Big Broadcast is a Sunday night tradition for families throughout the WAMU listening area. Each week, Big Broadcast host Ed Walker offers listeners priceless recordings of popular radio programs from the ‘30s, ‘40s and ‘50s. Priceless, especially, for a man whose first sentence as a child was, ‘Turn the radio on.’ “

None of Mary's explanations can soothe Lord Phillip, reaping the fallout of marrying "down", and his cold indifference drives Mary, who fights against it, closer to Tommie. As the two lovers surrender to their ardor, Lord Rexford learns from his secretary that Mary had been telling the truth, and he calls for her to join him in Cannes with a clean slate. .

“Vic & Sade” tonight, for the first time since I’ve been following The Big Broadcast. V&S are probably not everybody’s cup of tea, but I enjoy ‘em. I believe I heard that there was a great quantity discs of the V&S broadcasts in a storage area that were finally just trashed to open up the space. Tragic if true.

Yep. As much as I love the Big Broadcast, I hate the rest of the leftist NPR agenda. That’s too bad...

I have learned to be very selective. My local NPR switched format to heavy news and the programming is not what one would call conservative.

It is sad they need to use the BB and Americana to bring in the money to broadcast Americana destroying propaganda.
