How about..."Adventures in Paradise" Which I think was written or produced by James Michener. Troy somebody was the central character. Adam Troy? Troy Adams? Something like that. I think his boat was the Kon Tiki or Kona Tiki?

And for some reason that show reminded me of 77 Sunset Strip.

Wow, that’s reaching back. Adventures In Paradise ran from 59-62. It was created by James Michener but once he sold the idea he pulled out of the project. The central character was Captain Adam Troy played by Gardner McKay.

Tiki . I’ve got most of the shows on DVD , and very decent quality . Have an extra set of episodes if you are interested . Hawaiian Eye was an other fave and I have all eps. of the first 3 seasons ( with Eisley , Conrad and Williams ) on DVD . 4th season all went to hell with the intro of Troy Donahue .
