She was down 19 points in a poll 2 weeks or so ago, then was down 11 in the one by Rasmussen the other day. So while I wish her luck, they’re comparing apples vs. oranges.

That's because she made a negligible 2 point gain within the margin of error of where she was before the debate, and he lost about 6 points to the undecideds while still retaining a double digit lead.
There's a serious case of O'Donnell Infatuation Syndrome afoot in the conservative movement, and it seems to make all afflicted by it oblivious to political reality or even the most basic facts about their fruitloop of a candidate.
