I assume New England people are pulling for the Rangers because they are Red Sox fans...I am in New England rooting for the Rangers because I am a Texas fan...I was just clarifying that there are actual Texas fans in NE.

Bush used to have a financial interest in the Rangers, ergo; they don't like the Rangers. Sports networks are biased toward east coast teams as it is...

I don't think John Smoltz is biased towards the Yankees. I'm sure he got tired of seeing them celebrating World Series wins from the losing dugout.

Game’s over...note that the broadcasters could barely contain their excitement during this Yankee rally...Washington’s mismanagement of the bullpen cost the Rangers roughly ten games over the course of the season, no surprises here. The Rangers were the last sports team I was paying any attention to...looks like that is about over, as well...
