Sea Shepherd To Unveil New Interceptor Vessel

The Sea Shepherd have officially secured a replacement for the sunk Ady Gil.

...

As for the type of vessel the conservation org is revealing is anyone’s guess. The group has been tight-lipped about a successor for the speedy Gil ever since it sank after a collision last January (or intentionally scuttled, depending on who you believe) — although it appears that they may have had the new boat as early as July.

“Sea Shepherd has acquired a new fast vessel to replace the Ady Gil,” Watson wrote on his Facebook page around July 12th. “The name will be posted once registration and reflagging is completed. This vessel will bring the fleet to four once again along with the Steve Irwin, Bob Barker and Sirenian (based in the Galapagos). Thank-you to all the fans and supporters that have made this possible.”

The post was later deleted.

With hippies at the helm, sunk or scuttled is debatable.

Down is down, though.

The Bob Barker should be renamed (in honor of his dog & cat birth control project) the Graft Spayed.

I guess it could along with the Israeli Navy have a ship called the "Hood"

A separate thread should be started to ‘NAME THE SHIP’.

I told you they were going to get one of those they also upgraded the Bob Barker so the boat doesn't have engine failure in the middle of the ocean, can you html this article? http://www.seashepherd.org/news-and-media/news-101015-1.html

I will try and follow Sea Shepherd via facebook this campaign. I have Watson, Luke Van Horn, Potts, Swift, Laurens deGroot and others as friends on facebook including our resident favorite Captain Pete Bethune!

I am the mole inside :)

Thanks for posting this pan, you and I are going to have a fantastic winter, I hope they do a webcam or something that we can all comment on.

We should get at least a dozen stories between December and February regarding our favorite hippies!

I am going to try and get these news stories from Sea Shepherd to Pan_Yan so he can post them since he is an expert with html as you can tell by his many funny pictures and posts.

I love these threads for a million reasons but number 1 it takes all our minds off of the dictator in chief running the country into the toilet.
