One thing that is interesting is comparing this to the movie I Robot. The movie runs with the idea that robots start out looking very mechanical, but as they become more sophisticated, they become more human looking.
But in the real world, it appears that making them LOOK human is actually the easy part. The actual physical functionality is the more difficult part. Fast-forward 20 years and this could be interesting.
For some perspective, ask yourself where the internet and video games were 20 years ago. Or even ten years ago. This could be huge in ways most people can not even imagine.
