Hoosiers lose to Nebraska, again. I saw that happen myself on a rainy afternoon in 1979 in Memorial Stadium in Bloomington. Now that Nebraska is joining the Big 10, I will have to adjust to it being a regular event.
I haven't heard that, but if it's true, that is, indeed, good news. The league needs another team after Chicago's departure.
Although it remains in the Big 10, the University of Chicago, one of the league's co-founders, dropped intercollegiate football last year because of their young liberal president Robert Hutchins' hostility to the sport. Fortunately, few, if any schools will be following Hutchins' lead.
