Well the good news is I beat the average yahooer by 25 points...the bad news is the average yahooer got 193. Not your average race to be sure.

Watched the beginning and Newman spun out on the second lap then heard later in the evening that JJ had spun out. thought great, half the team down.

Next two races will separate some wheat from the chaff..or flotsam from the jetsom and J.J.’s hanging in there but this one is close...don’t know that Harvicks got the temperment (too much bitching at the crew) but Hamlin is a threat...if I’d have only taken my own advice and ran Kyle instead of Jeff...if wishes were horse power then I’d still get a speeding penalty.

A father and son have escaped injury after a pre-race stunt gone bad caused a fiery wreck on the frontstretch at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
About two hours before Saturday's Sprint Cup race, the daredevil known as Spanky Spangler was driving around the track in a beat-up recreational vehicle with 'Hold my beer. Watch this' spray-painted on one side.
He was chased by a police cruiser driven by his son, Bryan Spangler. There were a series of planned explosions just as the cars approached a jump. But the bottom of the RV caught fire and landed nose-first on top of junk cars next to the ramps.
OBTW Pete... You had 220 more points than the guy in the cheap seats across the tracks from your Palatial Mansion and were the leader of the Class. Only two other lucky souls broke 300 last night but you still have a couple of lights out on the rear of the trailer...
