As my name indicates, I live amongst alot of old time yellow dog democrats. Many of them are dying off but some of their children are carrying on the tradition. My parents were yellow dogs but out of nine children, I would guess 2-3 remained democrats.

They believe the main stream media. Their voting guide is X beside the Democrat box at the top of the ticket. They will say the Republicans are the party of the rich. One of the older people I knew retold the tale of his family leaving their plantation in Alabama for Texas. The family plantation and most of the contents were being auctioned at the time. Carpet baggers= Republicans, still resented. It seems more like a game for them and they are rooting for their team. They can be real smart As about their “beliefs” too. Some really are liberal and some are just tradition bound. They say Democrats are the friend to the farmer. But they don’t know the Democrats best friend-environmentalists-would like to do away with people and let these vast stretches of land go back to nature. These are my opinions and observations for what they are worth.

Yes, but you didn't answer my question. I didn't ask why these people don't become Republicans; I asked why don't they form a separate party where they can be "old time Democrats" and neither Pelosi radicals nor Republican "carpetbaggers."
