Because in the private sector, if someone were caught recording another worker without their knowledge and it resulted in a 610K loss, that employee would be fired. And this was not another worker, but a minor.
Are we screening teachers any more? It seems there are quite a few perverts in the classrooms these days.
The safe schools czar is okay with this. How else can you make sure they are sleeping well at night?
