Just got back from seeing this movie. I used to ride/train Thoroughbred ex-racers, so this movie was right up my alley. I just loved it. Although, I must say, some of the horses used in those scenes were absolutely puny compared to the real Secretariat. He was a massive, muscular beast - 16.2 hands. There was a reason they called him Big Red! That one with the scrawny little neck that they showed loading into the Derby gate couldn't hold a candle to the real thing - he looked about 15 hands high. But still an excellent movie.

Diane Lane is still gorgeous. I had read last year that she retired from films, but here she is. Maybe this was her last movie? And I really enjoy John Malkovich... he was superb in that role.

A great family movie. The only cussing was in French.

I look forward to seeing it. There’s something about horse movies. Sea Biscuit is one of my favorite films of all time.

This movie is worth the trip to the theatres.

You won’t regret it.
