Trickle Up Poverty is a MUST read .
I have not read Jason’s book yet and do not know whether he’ll turn out to be a talented book form writer. But he is certainly one of the most intelligent talk hosts in the biz. He is the real thing as far as conservative/libertarian views go.
He WAS the TEA party before there was a TEA party. He’d organized anti-tax rallies with thousands of attendees for several years before Rick Santelli’s call to arms.
And he is a decent fellow. He answered the few emails I’ve sent him over the past couple years and he’s been a popular guest at local right wing gatherings.
I’ve listened to him for years. He usually does good research and he knows economic, legal and government issues well enough to discuss them with any expert. I would expect that his book might be less sensational than something from Savage. But it will likely be very well researched and informative.
The ‘right’ thing to do is read both, of course.
I don’t know about his book. But lately, on all matters Arab and Islam, Lewis has gone completely off the rails. He never says a thing Hamas would disagree with. It’s almost to the point where you start to wonder if he’s had a Norquist type conversion to the other side of humanity’s great struggle.
Savage
I have my issues with Savage, but Trickle Up Poverty is an absolute must-read. I didn’t even know that Lewis had written a book, so I can’t comment on his.
