Kingston Trio...that's more like it. The Beatles and the Kingston Trio met early in the Beatle’s career. Capital records had a party and the two musical groups were introduced. It was the same party where Dylan introduced the Beatles to weed. I was hooked on the Trio early in my life when my Father took me to see them at the NCO Club at Yakota AFB back in 1961. Only Bob Shane is surviving of the entire group and he's barely at that.
