Methinks the Yankees are appraised at being worth 2 billion dollars. They’ve won 27 championships. So unless the teams you cited can claim both, the Yankees ARE the gold standard of sport.
C’mon. Those teams are great teams with great traditions, but not comparable to the New York Yankees.
