VANITY: Best places to taunt the Left on the evening of Nov 2 ?

Where do folks think they will go to gloat and torment the Left on Election evening?

DU and Kos police their places pretty well, especially around elections, and hit and run insults that will soon be deleted are no fun. I remember indymedia.org was a pretty free wheeling place with lots of despairing lefties and no moderators in 2004, but pretty much a ghost town lately.

Huffington Post gives conservatives a fairly long leash and a lot of angry lefties that will rise to the bait, but if you piss off enough people you will get your account suspended. This has happened to me twice before.

The New York Times forums are full of arrogant liberals who are amazingly ill-informed. It can be lonely to be a conservative there. Threading and bookmarking is poor. I prefer the Washington PPost

So where's it going to be?

It would be better to try and win converts, rather than reinforce an idea that this is a sports game, and that we are on permanent differing teams.

Just stand at the base of the space needle in Seattle and yell “Jump!” over and over...

Bah. Not on election night, after all the work we’ve turned in for our candidates. The rest of the time, sure.

Best place is at the election night headquarters of your local losing Democrat candidate. ;-)

There’s no time to taunt. We are in crisis. Leave the childishness to the liberals.

Sounds a bit childish and silly to me.

While I am a charter member of DUmmy Funnies, and find their post hilarious, I would never soil myself to try and post anything to the young commies.

I would rather enjoy the celebrations here on FR, and with a few bottles of a good red wine.

I will not be at a gloat party. However, if I see anyone swinging a baton near a polling place, I will be 100 yards away with a laser pointer trained on their chest. Far enough that they can’t tell whether or not the laser is attached to anything, close enough to see the reaction.

While your point is well taken, after we were told that we would be in the wilderness for at least a generation, I believe a little taunting is called for...and healthy.

Then, at whatever date that the recounts and lawsuits are over, we get back to work.

This election is just the beginning...

I may go to Philly with a baton in my hand and stand right next to those asshats.

I will never forget the ‘94 election. I hated CNN even then, but it was the only cable news network out there.

It was the most rewarding experience watching CNN that night. They had exit polls, and the dems were so depressed! What a great night on the tube!

I think I’ll watch MSDNC on this election night. It should prove to be the finest entertainment around!

Be advised that taunting liberals only increases their self-righteousness. I would rather they despair and perhaps see the error of their belifs. Taunting only leads them to believe that we are like them, emotional and self-serving. No liberal will turn around when they see this.

We are not liberals. We don’t act like children. We need to roll up our sleeves and begin our job for 2012 making the house and senate even more conservative. To waste time taunting liberals is just silly and sounds like Democrats would do. We have a real change to change Washington forever by 2014....it starts in 2010, continues in 2012 and finishes after the 2014 election.

The libs nowadays seem to beyond redemption...and most of them are so far to the left that it won’t make a difference what we do.

Though, I guess there is always hope.

“Taunting only leads them to believe that we are like them, emotional and self-serving”

“First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, then you win.” ~ Mahatma Ghandi

It doesn’t matter how we behave, they will behave worse...I guarantee it!

Some of the reactions here to your suggestion are quite symptomatic of where we are now as a nation, and a world for that matter.

This election should be the beginning of saving this nation from total destruction as engineered by a facist who seems as though he may be a plant sent to do just that, and his cronies, and we aren’t supposed to gloat? BS!

Nothing can top the “All your Senate are belong to us” error message on DU. After that it’s all childplay.

Only an immature and insecure person needs to taunt people.

You can do better than that. A FOOL taunts, a wise man goes about his way........
