BULLETIN! REPUBLICANS NOW POISED TO TAKE SENATE MAJORITY
DickMorris.com ^ | 10/6/2010 | Dick Morris

Posted on 10/07/2010 9:43:57 AM PDT by Signalman

Dear Friend,

Today, October 6th, is the first day this year that the Republican candidate leads in the most recent poll in ten Senate races for Democratic seats. If the Republicans hang onto these leads, they are assured of a majority!

Even more important, the Republican is moving up in all ten races even where the margin is still narrow!

The following are the polling data from the most recent survey listed on realclearpolitics.com:

North Dakota = Republican + 43%

Arkansas = Republican + 18%

Indiana = Republican + 18%

Wisconsin = Republican + 12%

Pennsylvania = Republican + 7%

Colorado = Republican + 5%

West Virginia = Republican + 5%

Illinois = Republican + 4%

Nevada = Republican + 3%

Washington = Republican + 1%

And, in Connecticut, Linda McMahon is hot on the heels of Richard Blumenthal. In New York State, the last published poll had Republican Joe DioGuardi one point behind appointed Senator Kristen Gillibrand, but that poll is now two weeks old. In Delaware, the last poll is two weeks old and showed Democrat Coons way ahead but it may well have closed since.

The only piece of bad news is that Fiorini is 3 points behind Boxer, but Barbara is still under 50% of the vote.

We need to get our vote to turnout!

PLEASE ORDER MY NEW MOVIE, BATTLE FOR AMERICA, AND SHOW IT TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS, NEIGHBORS, FAMILY.

_________________________________________________________ And give a generous donation to SuperPacUSA.com for “Project 100″ to expand the number of House seats we are trying to capture and to take on some high value targets like Steny Hoyer, Barney Frank, and John Dingell.

Thanks,

Dick Morris

Ooooo wouldn't that be a tasty treat, watching Sen Reid handing the gavel to a Republican.

Hey, if Reid is not re-elected, who hands the gavel to the new leader?

Getting Boxer would be worth losing 1 or 2 of the others.

Morris is celebrating way way too soon.
Besides I am real sure the Republicans will find a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Reid will still hand it to him. He’ll be part of the lame duck Congress after losing.

In the US Senate the losers are personna non grata after they lose you never see them again. The gavel thing is a US House thing.

Reid will be gone when the new congress is sworn in. The gavel will be held by the president of the senate (Biden) or the current president pro-tempore (Inouye). If the new senate has a republican majority, they will vote to choose a president pro-tempore and majority leader.

I remember very fondly back in 1994. Jim Sasser, that little pr&*#$ from Tennessee was Majority Whip. I forget who quit above him, but he was making measurements for the Office of Majority Leader.

Then, the GOP started to surge...it became iffy that the Senate would remain Dem.

Oh, well, Minority Leader isn’t such a bad gig, right?

Then...Sasser’s opponent started to creep up. That was Bill Frist.

And when election night came, Sasser was no longer a US Senator. A pretty big drop from “almost Senate Majority Leader” to private citizen.

And ironically Sasser went on later to serve as Majority Leader. The irony was delicious.

Bye bye Sen. Reid. Maybe you can commiserate with Sasser.

Morris, as a self-promoter, is brilliant..if the GOP does take the Senate, he’s a genius..if they fall one or two short..no one will remember..

I meant, of course, that Frist went on later to serve as Majority Leader.

"And give a generous donation to SuperPacUSA.com for “Project 100″" Okay, I will make a donation. I have been covering the Senate seats and a local Congressional seat but I need to a place to donate to Congressional seats nation wide outside of the RNC.

Morris does not factor in that RINOs, the leadership of the Republican party, will not be in full support of any candidate with Tea Party backing who might threaten their control of the Party.

For RINOs, a conservative government is a much lower priority than they being in control of the Republican Party apparatus.

RINOs like Lugar, Snowe, Collins believe the Senate Club is more important and is being threatened by the Tea Party uprising. They would be quite happy with some of their long-time buddy democrats returning to Congress rather than the snaggle-toothed, racist, mob-ruled Tea Party candidates.
