When I was a kid, I always dreamed of running away to the circus or the French Foreign Legion. I ended up running away to the Marine Corps... : )

For the opening of the Marine Corps Birthday ceremony, the song to march out to is the French Foreign Legion March (March or Die). I love that march. It sends shivers up my spine.

Don’t know if you have ever seen on the history channel a documentary an englishman made in 2005. It’s about a bunch of englishmen who go through a modified month long French Foreign Legion bootcamp. It’s pretty good. I liked it.
