I had a Golden that sneaked into the house and ate a whole platter of food that my wife had caterers deliver to our house for a special event. Once I stopped laughing at the look on my wife's face, all I did was "bad dog" old Duke, he gave me the sheepish eyes and kind of creeped out the door.

Dogs, especially labs and Goldens, will eat anything they see that even looks like food, to punish them for that very doggie behavior is simply evil.

We had a Newfie mix, I had just cooked a roast and had it on the carving board. My son called out to me, left the kitchen for what seemed like a minute, came back and the meat was gone, not even a dripping left. Stood there for a second completely dumb struck.....looked over and there was Zack just sitting in the corner. I was more amazed at the speed he devoured it than mad.
