Noah Mitchell faces animal cruelty charges for body slamming pet
A Key Largo man is in jail after he allegedly beat his dog nearly to death after it tried to run from him and then stole his steak.
"Bubba," a black Labrador, is in seriously bad shape after his owner, Noah Mitchell, performed a knee drop on the dog and dragged it around by the neck after getting mad at his pet over the weekend.
According to a police report quoting an eyewitness, Mitchell first got angry after the dog tried to run from him outside on Oct. 3.
Once dragged inside, Bubba snatched a steak from the kitchen counter and that set Mitchell off even more.
The man first body slammed the dog on the ground and then performed a knee drop on the canine. Then Mitchell tossed an unconscious Bubba in his cage.
Bubba suffered a collapsed lung, damage to his larynx and fractured ribs, veterinarians said. If Bubba was an hour later getting treatment, he would have died.
The 33-year-old faces animal cruelty charges. As for Bubba, he is being cared for at the South Dade Animal Hospital.
Yeah, they look so innocent after gobbling up stuff they know they are not supposed to eat but they can’t help themselves. Your dog probably weighted about 3 lbs more after eating that roast!
Justice would be this clown getting a sound caning.
I love these threads were everyone gets outraged about animal abuse as 1000's of abortions take place every day without a peep.
did you eat a hot dog or ham sandwich lately? Have you seen how miserable hogs lives are on pig farms?
What should we do with people who kill mice? That's cruel too.
I USED to have a friend who owned a yellow lab and it was the only lab that I have ever seen that growled at its owner.
After seeing the way my exfriend beat the dog after that incident I now know why.
It was apparent that my EX friend knew absolutely nothing on how to train a pet other than by force and beatings........
After he got rid of the dog he tried to explain that when he got the dog from the local pound, it came with the mean attitude and he couldn't deal with it.
Yea, right.........
Don't be an idiot...........
When are we going to get outraged over the hundreds of bugs that you step on and cruelly kill every time you walk across your lawn?
It is very possible that if the PETA crowd gets control of things it will be a crime to mow your lawn. The agony of lopping a mole's head off. Think about it, running aroung and chopping up harmless creatures. I think jail time is required.
Take it easy, this is a posting about animal cruelty, not abortion. If you look around Freerepublic I’m sure that you can find an anti-abortion thread.
Let’s really let the punishment fit the crime.I’ve got a German Shepherd sitting in front of me that would have this creep crying like a baby.
If we attribute too much value to a dog (for example equating beating a dog to 2 years of prison time for a human) then we are heading down a twisty mangled logical road that can only lead to lots of things that are not good for the cause of conservatives. One of the fundamental premises of conservative philosophy is to draw a distinct line between humans and all other animals.
Dogs are noble creatures. The cow should feel honored to be of service to one.
Cruelty to animals is a leading indicator of a propensity to do violence to other people.I still don’t understand why you injected abortion into a discussion of animal cruelty.
I inject it in because we are led by these stories to get in a frenzy about animal cruelty and yet abortion, which is worse, gets no play by the media as being cruel. We are being played when we get into a frenzy about stuff like this. Fine the guy a couple of hundred dollars and take his dog away. Case closed.
He clomped his right from set of claws on top, his left fromt on the bottom, and pulle the whole burger away in the blink of an eye before I could tighten my grip.
Looks like you got the old Invisible Sandwich treatment!
So let’s just talk about abortion and nothing else? You have to be kidding me.
You miss the point. My point is to not get too outraged about animal cruelty. Our very lives depend on the killing of animals. Animals are property and they have monetary value. If we start throwing people in prison for being cruel to animals we are really going down a slippery slope.
I didn’t miss the point.I chose to ignore it.Nuff said.
This Son of a bitch doesn’t bother to train his dog, so he beats it for not being trained.
Grrrrr!!!!!
