I knew someone would mention that!
That's my wife's side of the bed! LOL! (I really shoulda stashed those before I took the photo.)
I’m thinking Blue Oyster Cult
>>No Santana or Jeff Beck? - Worthless list.
Um,
12. Cause Weve Ended as Lovers, Jeff Beck
>>Leslie West of Mountain playing Mississippi Queen.
Yeah I would have thought that would be in a Top 50.
Right. Mason Williams.
“Crazy On You”—Heart’s debut album 1977; (Nancy Wilson’s amazing acoustic intro)...
“Lazy”—Deep Purple 1973-ish...
Couple of really great ones I haven’t seen mentioned.
What! No Johnny Winter?

Johnny Winter - “Johnny B. Goode”
Agreed. Nancy Wilson did an amazing opening on that song (1976?). I have spent a lot of time trying to replicate that opening but it is fairly difficult, for me at least.
And don’t forget Brian Setzer on “Stray Cat Strut” from 1983 or so.
Awesome, in the Eddie Cochran and Bill Haley mode.
It is very intricate. Take a look on YouTube, many players have that posted, and teach it note-by-note.
Crazy on You is an awesome song all the way through.
Rush’s “La Villa Strangiato” has one of the best solos IMO.
Elliot Randall. Good stuff.
My favorite is another Steely Dan tune, Gold Teeth II. Guitar work by Denny Dias.
