And you conveniently leave out that they ALREADY have the same rights as everyone else. They have the same rights as you do. They can marry anyone of the opposite sex. They can will their money and property to anyone they choose. They can get a power of attorney for anyone to oversee their affairs.

No one is depriving them of any rights.
