To: DUMBGRUNT
Given the state of our current print media, I am grateful and proud that the Chicago Tribune had this excellent piece. However, I do wish that they AND OTHERS would learn that this award is named the "Medal of Honor", and not the "Congressional Medal of Honor" [picture caption in article].

I don't know how this got started but other than the Congress having authorized this award through legislation, they have nothing to do with it in it's specific and individual awarding. A minor point but just an irritation with lousy fact-checking.
