Noooooo, I want the Rangers to face the Yanks, we’d have a better shot.

Just got back from the game, nice to see Josh is back and he hit a HR tonight. He’ll be ready for the playoffs.

Reggie had a career OPS+ of 139. So he was FAR better than his peers.

While his postseason numbers are better than his regular season numbers they are not fantastically so.
Regular season.262/.356/.490
Postseason .278/.358/.527

Don’t be jealous. He’s a total asshole. But I did get to meet people like Dusty Baker, Hank Aaron, Johnny Bench, Dave Concepcion

Would rather see Yanks get wild card so they don’t get home advantage, and just the idea of them NOT winning the div.
despite all their spending (and because, well, I’m a Sox fan and this is how we feel against the Yankees). I tend to
cheer for underdogs anyway, incl. teams that haven’t been
in playoffs too often...though I’m not crazy about the lack of attendance at Rays games.

But hey, it’s football country...

In the past I’ve cheered for teams opposing the Yankees
and found some of their players later became Red Sox:
2001 Diamondbacks—Schilling
2003 Marlins—Lowell, Beckett

Not bloody likely!

You're absolutely right. The Wankees won't even be in the Series this year.

So sorry. The Yankees are going to take it all this year. As it should be.

As it should be?

Was this piece of wisdom chiseled into stone someplace?

Your AL Wild Card Winner, The New York Yankees. AL East Title? Not for them; the team that half-fills their stadium,
Tampa Bay, beat em out for THAT.

No home team adv for Yankees at least.

Chiseled in stone?

Ahh...Maybe not stone. But...the probabilities are with the Yankees. After all. We spend more money on World Series Trophy polish than the rest of the league spends on their rosters. YANKEES RULE!

Yankees are a lot like Democrats,
they think they are entitled....

So, who is your team?
