Friday October 1, 2010Women Convicted of Infanticide Feted as Heroes by Mexico City Politicians
By Matthew Cullinan Hoffman, Latin America Correspondent MEXICO CITY, September 30, 2010 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Four women convicted of infanticide who were freed from prison following a campaign by pro-abortion groups were feted in Mexico City on Monday by the pro-abortion leader of the Women's Institute of the Federal District (Inmujeres-DF), Martha Lucía Micher. The four women, who had been imprisoned along with three others in the state of Guanajuato for "homicide in reason of parentage," were released from prison by the state government in early September after pro-abortion groups claimed they had been imprisoned for "abortion," a charge repeated many times by a sympathetic Mexican media. Inmujeres-DF held a ceremony honoring the women to celebrate the "Day for the Depenalization of Abortion in Latin America and the Carribean." Each was given an award of "recognition" by the government, which will be sent to the other three not present at the event. Micher, whose agency is charged with promoting Mexico City's program of free abortion on demand, used the opportunity to lash out at Mexico's 31 states, where abortion continues to be illegal in most circumstances, and referred to the killing of unborn children as a "human right." "While on the other side they don't safeguard human rights, here in the city, we have the opportunity to offer respect and protection so that women can decide freely regarding their maternity," she said. As LifeSiteNews has reported previously, the seven women recently freed by the government of Guanajuato were convicted not of procuring abortions, but of giving birth to children of up to full birth weight, who were determined to have died following birth. One baby was left in a bag on the street and reportedly died of hypothermia, and another was found at the bottom of a latrine with fecal matter in his lungs. All seven women claim that they are innocent.

This country honors murderers!
Mexico — land of corruption
Wow. Murdering babies after birth is a right now? What is this, Denmark?
mexico should keep its title as the birth place of syphilis and embrace the cannabal heritage.....
A society that does not protect the lives of its most innocent will surely disregard the value of all life.
Moreover, they contend, investigations by prosecutors produced photographic evidence in one case that the baby was physically assaulted, with multiple facial wounds and a broken nose, and had died of asphyxiation. In one case previously reported by LSN, the baby was found at the bottom of a latrine, reportedly with fecal matter in his lungs, after his mother sought hospital attention for herself and failed to mention the birth. In another case a woman gave birth after an adulterous affair, and left her child in a bag on the street, claiming later that it had been stillborn.
We all knew this was the next step. Post birth abortions, look for it soon. The next leftist dream that must be squashed. This was what Margaret Sanger wanted. For people to kill family members, she thought it was “kind”.

As their babies died, so should the “mothers.” But I’d settle for hanging. Since they’re probably crack whores, they may not even notice until the devil is tickling their tootsies with hot coals.
They’ll know Satan because he’s wearing a bright red t-shirt with “Fork You” written across the chest.
