Bill Gates says vaccines can help reduce world population (Video)
Natural News ^ | October 01, 2010

(NaturalNews) In a recent TED conference presentation, Microsoft billionaire Bill Gates, who has donated hundreds of millions of dollars to new vaccine efforts, speaks on the issue of CO2 emissions and its effects on climate change.

He presents a formula for tracking CO2 emissions as follows: CO2 = P x S x E x C.

P = People
S = Services per person
E = Energy per service
C = CO2 per energy unit

Then he adds that in order to get CO2 to zero, "probably one of these numbers is going to have to get pretty close to zero."

Following that, Bill Gates begins to describe how the first number -- P (for People) -- might be reduced. He says:

"The world today has 6.8 billion people... that's headed up to about 9 billion. Now if we do a really great job on new vaccines, health care, reproductive health services, we could lower that by perhaps 10 or 15 percent."

Gosh I almost feel guilty sitting on my 2.35 acres. Almost.

So to cover half, each person would need 544.5 square feet of personal space.
Thanks for doing the math - with links no less.

In other words if we DO manage to REDUCE atmospheric CO2, and reduce CO2 in the global biome, then worldwide, food supplies WILL suffer.

Sound like you actually learned something from Biology 101.

As for the libtards pushing this CO2 reduction crap, I suspect two-thirds are too dense to understand the relationship between abundant CO2 and plant life and the other third really want reduced food supplies as a tool to cull and control the population.

Actually I took ‘biology’ all the way through to a degree in Physiology in Marine Science ;-) No careers there though in the 70s.

These high-minded fools have no idea of what happens in the biome if you reduce the vapor pressure/ PPM (and thus the dissolved CO2 in sea water) of atmospheric CO2. Doing so SLOWS the metabolism of all photosynthetic organisms at the BOTTOM of the food chain; IOW - phytoplankton — the basic food for life in the oceans.

Available CO2 is often the limiting factor for growth for mankind’s agriculture — there’s enough water, sunshine, warmth and mineral/organic nutrients, but there ain’t enough CO2.

Harrumph. Preaching to the choir.

The "vaccines" are the birth control. But the women receiving them think they are getting a tetanus shot. But it needs to be repeated every three months, and finally someone started asking questions.

That would be about the perfect lot size for me - maybe even up to five acres. Right now, I'm on 1/2 an acre and love the space, but it's a stupid 80' wide and 272' deep. It's almost as bad as a subdivision, just the back neighbors aren't as close.

I know this will be unpopular here, but I agree that at the very least the population growth rate must come down. The world cannot handle exponential growth of the human race IMO. Flame away.

Easy to fix, halt all medical research. If that doesn't do the trick stop producing vaccines. Then if that doesn't work outlaw penicillin.

Don't think for a minute any of this will affect Bill Gates and Bill Gates knows this. All elites want to control population growth of you but not for thou.

These “smart” people are still stuck on a false premise — that rising CO2 (anthropogenic or otherwise) is a BAD THING.

Like any change, it's a mixed bag. The effect on forests is to produce more wood. Unfortunately, most of our forests are way overgrown and subject to catastrophic fire.

I remember ten years ago when I was in India and there was a little girl living in the streets.

I was saddened that she had to grow up in such conditions, and I was wishing her parents had practiced birth control.

She was a happy girl and would sometimes sing to me when I came by to visit. After getting to know her more, I began to realize that perhaps it was she that had more of a right to live than me, or depressed people that visit psychologists, or drug addicted rock stars, or binge drinking college students, or pot smoking professors.

Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature.

What they do not understand is the productive impact of humans in the wild. This idea of "Nature" as separate from people is an undefinable idea without a misanthropic projection, and is therefore an anthropomorphism, an internal contradiction in terms. It is one of the most ecologically disastrous ideas in history.

Medical Research in effect has been stopped because many drug companies want to come out with redundant drugs for Erectile Dysfunction while many esoteric diseases are ignored.

So much for that "free market".

You do know that the entire current population of earth will fit in one city in Florida if everyone stands shoulder to shoulder leaving the rest of the planet empty right?

I didn’t say anyone would do it; I won’t live places where the cock roaches are big enough to require pet licences, just that the earth isn’t as crowded as people would have one think.

Here’s a link to recently (2010) approved drugs for things like Cardiology/Vascular Diseases, Dermatology/Plastic Surgery, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Hematology, Immunology/Infectious Diseases, etc. etc.

So much for uninformed posting.

>>Seems to me he was aiming at the ‘healthy population has a lower birth-rate’ result, not that vaccines would kill off up to 10% of the people.<<

You can/could accomplish at myriad of different tasks with a annual flu vaccination. Not to say I’m paranoid but I don’t take it.

I keep looking at that video, my first impulse is to say that he means that the INCREASE in CO2 has to be brought down to zero and he is just a very poor communicator but I am not certain that he even understands what he is saying. He is totally out of his depth, lecturing an audience on a subject about which he understands literally nothing.

When he gets to the bit about vaccinations and health care slowing the population increase I am flabbergasted. It seems that either he is saying that vaccinations and health care can sterilize people and or kill people (how else would they slow population growth) or he is just too damned stupid to know what he is saying.
