I think you are too hard on the Segway as a product.
I have looked into the x2 Golf model. It is the off-road x2 unit with a rack for your golf bag. Two of these units cost slightly less than a EZ-Go electric golf car.
Chasing a ball around a lawn is SUPPOSED to be exercise. I see very few goofers in carts who wouldn't benefit from walking 18 holes...
