My fatherIL was a pilot with Flying Tigers, retired in 1976. He said there were plenty of things in the night sky that could not be explained. He never used the words “UFO”. Even if a group debunked 99.9% of all sightings that still leaves a couple not explainable.
This is true and I have witnessed one myself (1986 Hudson Valley UFO sightings). But what I have trouble with is the leap people make between unidentified and extraterrestrial. I do not see how one automatically follows the other.
I will point out, with no malice intended, that a lack of an explanation does not automatically confer extraterrestrial origin.
Hi Svcw....well everyone believes in unidentified flying objects as that’s what they are...those who see them can’t “identify” them. But it’s a stretch for me to believe they are alien craft.
The comments these fellows made were interesting...that when these guidance control systems went down it was at the time of these UFO sittings. So why couldn’t it have been a foreign nation with a special made craft to do that...shut down our nuclear control systems. That would make sense.....rather like computer geeks taking down someones computer....or like our military planes which can send lazer beams. So I rather think this was another nation going after our nuclera sites.
