Think I read somewhere that the JAL freighter Captain was grounded for some time after his report of the incident. Sounded like a good guy getting slapped down for reporting the truth.

However the head of the FAA for that region ended up with tapes of the radar returns of that incident in his own possession.

I had a similar sighting in 1994. I was driving westbound on US I-10. I was crossing that long stretch of elevated roadway that spans a swampy region of Alabama/Mississippi.
What I saw was an enormous, multi-colored beam of light that emanated from within the swamp, maybe two or three miles south of the road. It simply turned on in an instant, and beamed into space. It was literally the largest single thing I have ever seen. It took up at least a quarter of my field of vision.
The quality of the light was more brilliant and rich than any artificial light I've ever seen. There were individual color bands constantly moving amongst each other, all within the larger beam.
I looked out through the window and up toward the top of the beam, and it went out to infinity. I couldn't see an end to it.
The whole event lasted less than ten seconds, and then it blinked out.
My son (who is now 29) witnessed it also, and there were other cars on the road. I didn't stop, and I didn't notice if anyone else did. My car was in motion the whole time.
One of the most peculiar aspects of the sighting, is that the light appeared in the middle of an area that is totally wild and supposedly uninhabited. I've been up and down that stretch of highway many times, and there's just nothing out there.
I submitted a report about this to MUFON, and they had one of their researchers contact me. She did a lengthy interview with me, and got every detail. The report is now in their records. I asked her at the time, if they'd had any other reports of this phenomenon, and she told me that mine was the only one.
Wow...why not? You've just gotta share this kind of stuff with the best friend you've got. My polarity on the thing was completely reversed from yours. Mrs. Windy was the first person I told.
It was just a very bright light in the sky going from white to blue white to an amazing welding arc blue (that description does not do the brilliance and deep bright blue color justice).
I have the same trouble adequately describing the brilliance, depth, and richness of the colors I saw that night. There's just nothing comparable in my experience to compare them to. It's not like they were new colors or anything - it was the quality of the light. I've just never seen anything like it.
Fascinating sighting you had there. I could sort of picture it, reading your report. Quix mentioned on a post downthread from yours that he's seen lots of reports of strange light beams and so-forth. I suppose he has. I don't know anyone who studies this subject as intensely as he does.
Ohhhh, didn't want to get a strange look from her and then there was the distinct possibility that she would blab to my buddies and knowing my buddies it wouldn't have ended well ;^)
The color is hard to describe, electric blue to the max.
Don't agree with all the conclusions Quix has come up with, but he is a good bird dog for finding the latest info. and I keep an open mind to his opinions.

The richness of the colors, their intensity is a persistent report. I’d say it’s a near 100% thing with such lights.

Certainly they are merely my flawed, very humble opinons.
On the other hand . . . I do have 45 years of collecting and pondering puzzle pieces.
And, The Lord has insured that I’ve met face to face a very surprising number of the itnernational heavy-weight researchers on the topic, including Japan’s top expert.
And, it is plausible that Holy Spirit gives me input on such from time to time.
I’m now reading the Book of Enoch recommended by Alamo-Girl for Enoch’s comments on such critters.
I’ve been disappointed watching the videos linked to just above . . . I was hoping that the 13th Oct thing was a total bust. One of the videos shows a long night vision sort of video with 100’s of craft or probes or orbs or all the above in the sky directly above the camera over a long period of time. It sure looks like at least a degree of confirmation of that prediction, if the dates are right.
That really . . . grieves me. I had hoped we had a good chunk of months if not years before they would force themselves into the public sphere more overtly.
IF those videos are any indication, it looks like we don’t have that long. That’s very sad to me.
I realize many sad things must needs be—before Christ returns and reigns in Peace. And, MARANATHA! BLESSED BE THE NAME OF THE LORD. EVEN SO, COME QUICKLY LORD JESUS.
I’d sure like to jump in time from here to then without all the stuff in between. Nevertheless, HE DOES ALL THINGS WELL and promised to be with us in the midst of whatever.
Besides, given that it appears HE has determined that we should do great exploits for Him in His strength and the power of His Blood and Spirit—who am I to avoid that honor, regardless.
I would sure rather that all my opinions were wrong. As the decades have rolled along, they have been increasingly right far more than has been comfortable for me. That’s not my doing. The Lord has engineered my mission as His watchman on the wall. He has engineered the vast array of puzzle piece collecting. He has engineered my meticulous and extensive training over more than 4 decades. He has insured that I had such a breadth and depth of every kind of expert and source to teach and train my opinioner. So, the flaws and errors are all mine. The accuracy to whatever degree it exists is all His.
