I’m surprised that the finale is next week and wonder if they pulled the plug because of the party crashers. ?
DC Housewives will DEFINITELY be back for Season 2.
Usually the first season of this Housewife franchise is always short so as to poll and gauge viewer reaction.
There is so much to update us with regarding the DC wives. I just found out that a college pal of mine is neighbors with Mary and Rich Amons in Virginia. Their kids play baseball together.
Ask your college friend if Mary is as laid back as she appears.(Or is it the wine?) Will the Salahis be part of season 2?

People magazine’s 10.11 issue says: “The Real Housewives franchise is finally out of the nation’s capital—what a monument to stupidity that series turned out to be—and moving back to Atlanta.
You’ll also want to check out Watch What Happens Live next Thursday: the Salahis and NeNe will all be there. Andy said they’ve wrapped the reunion and many questions are “answered”. We’ll see about that.

Michaele Salahi is totally being controlled by Tareq.
Did you see him pacing back & forth at the salon that she was getting her hair done for the State Dinner, so as to make sure that she said the proper things and wouldn’t say something dumb?
Tareq Salahi is a control freak.
I’m not saying that they’re out but it has been rumored. Frankly, when people misbehave like this—pathologically lying and believing their own lies—it is disturbing to watch. For me anyway. Tareq is one messed up individual and his wife is a basket case on her own. FGS calling herself “Miss DC” because she has the most friends and is the prettiest and so on, is, well, I’m running out of words to describe those two. I find it difficult to watch either of them and often turn off the sound!
Tareq CONTROLS Michaele’s every word; every move.
Did you notice how he was ‘hanging out’ at the beauty salon while she was getting her hair & makeup done — after he said that he’d leave for a bit to ‘take care of some business’?
She can’t say anything that is not approved by him — he’s a scary monster that way. I had a boyfriend like that in the 1990s and it was a horrible time in my life.
Michaele needs to get out NOW!
I also noticed that, when they were at the writer’s residence, Michaele talked over Tareq a number of times and he did not look pleased. She is really high strung and I do believe that, as Mary said, she is very unhappy. But hey, she’s got a sugar daddy....
Oh no, I see my prior post created some confusion. The statement references the end of the DC wives and the beginning of the Atlanta wives, not that the DC franchise was over. I did hear that the numbers were the lowest of any Real franchises, so who knows? After the latest Salahi threat to “sue anyone who calls us ‘party crashers’”, Bravo may have to get rid of them and keep moving with some other drama!

Tareq is hardly a “Sugar Daddy” anymore. The other day he filed for Chap. 7 Bankruptcy, so the money is dwindling & dwindling. I wonder if Michaele will stick around now “for better of for worse” (as she herself has stated) if Tareq cannot live up the life of a rich man.
The Sari red dress was also auctioned the other day. It fetched $7,000 and it was bought by none other than Erwin Gomez — the makeup artist who helped Michaele with the Sari at his salon the night of the WH State Dinner. The money is ‘supposedly’ going towards charity.
I can’t imagine the DC franchise without some disfucntion like the Salahis. They need those two in order to get whatever ratings they can get. Mary, Lynda, Stacie & Cat are boring.
Interesting! I hadn’t heard about Ch. 7 and imagine Tareq waited until after the Reunion to file! I think Erica would continue her back and forth to create drama but I’m sure Bravo will look for another dysfunctional couple to fire things up. Let me know if you get futher information!
I just read (whether true or not) that the Salahis are trying to get a Barbie doll make in Michale’s likeness wearing the crasher sari. What will they think of next?
