You have to have the wireless turned ON. From the Home Page click on Menu and scroll down to Search. Type in your search terms and then maneuver to either My Items, Kindle Store, Google, Dictionary, Wikipedia or you can go to the web.
Large graphics etc. won’t download if they are too big. Same for large files. But basic info and hit links is pretty easy to get.
If you are opened to an actual book on the Kindle, the menu button will take you to Search This Book. That won’t require being on wireless, I don’t believe as it’s like a text search.
When I was reading Guerney Literary and SPP Society, I came to the part where they described prisoners from the Spanish Civil War that were brought to the islands by the Germans. I refreshed my memory about the Spanish Civil War (Franco, late 30’s, pre WWII etc) and it added a lot of understanding about the characters they were describing.
You can also shop the Kindle store from your Kindle, although I typically use my PC for that.
Yeesh, I should’ve previewed that post. Hopefully it’s understandable.
I found the google search!
Thank you!
I have always shopped the Kindle store from the kindle, usually in bed at night.
