I just watched Neil Cavuto interview some dem congressman from TN and Bernie Sanders. These people are going to explode before the election. The anger and the lies...they are frothing at the mouth...very ugly.

Unless Obamacare is repealed and effective health care policies replace it, I honestly don't see how it can be. Once they have our healthcare under their direct control, it'll be easy for them to get back into power, IMO.

And a worsened doctor shortage is just the half of it. As the article also illustrates, the insurance industry is already consolidating, we had to switch carriers last winter as Unicare gave up in the state we're insured out of.

I suppose there might be a boon to the Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner roles, but as good as many are, they aren't physicians.

Oh, I am convinved NobamaCare will be repealed. The problem is, what will it be replaced with? I have very low confidence in the current Repubs leadership to come up with what we want.

Nobama's fatal mistake is taking on the senior citizens. Nobama's legislation now puts seniors on a track where they will have to use all their savings to cover what was once paid by Medicare. And, Nobama did this to people already in retirement with no chance to earn more.

I think we are looking at generational change here. The kind that requires the dying out of old habits and mores, aka Congressional old-boy system, and the influx of OUR representatives in all branches...;-))

The other side of the coin though, is that somw old habits and mores, (love of country, respect for the constitution, strong work ethic etc) Will be replaced with nanny statism, globalism, further social degradation.

I hope not. I hold out hope that the nation doesn’t lose and actually regains its self-dignity. And I share your trepidations about the beltway republicans. WHY aren’t Paul Ryan’s ideas being embraced by the GOP? Well, I have a pretty good idea. Old-boy network, indeed.

I believe when all votes are in and time elapses, we will find Americans will return to the American way of work, insurance, pay for medical and health care, NO government cradle to grave meddling. The progressives will be seen as the communists they are and will be replaced by Americans who believe in the American Ideas. Those who won’t work will have to learn to do, as they did in the past, the newcomers on welfare will also have to learn to work, the welfare rolls will dwindle. Those who’ve never worked will have to learn to bend over and pick up after themselves and those on the stoops will have to learn to walk. I believe in America and Americans. We will survive...whose who don’t want to live as we do will move away.
