Sorry but I did not post number 46. There seems to be some bitter “old”people here. I am not necessarily talking about age . I have not had a terrific life either. I lost my younger daughter in 2004 from complications of Crohn’s Disease. The people on FR helped keep me sane . I told some here that I could have had the biggest pity party in the world but I hate parties! Then just 2 years later my hubby died of liver cancer. Two months before he died my older brother died from radiation exposure during his early Air Force days. Then a few months later my wonderful Christian mother died. We knew it was her time to go home because she was about 3 months short of being 103. She lived a long life and had been singing “Going Home” for years. We miss them so very much but God knows what He is doing. Between when my daughter died and my mom's deaths, we lost about 25 aunts, uncles, and cousins. In the past year, my aunt lost her 3 daughters to different kinds of cancer. Two were about my age and we had grown up together. How does any parent lose 3 daughters in 10 months? I know how hard it was losing 1 but losing all of her daughters is so much worse. We all have to depend on God through the rough times in our lives. After all, He never promised us an easy life! OK! That is my sermon for today. It still makes my Teary eyed remembering all the wonderful people we have lost.
