The South's refusal to purge itself of the sin of slavery led to the South's defeat. Southern slaveholders sexually abused their "slaves" on a regular basis. That kind of behavior led to a culture of perversion and a cesspool of immorality. By the end of the war, things had gotten so bad that homosexuality in the Confederate Army was not only tolerated, but rewarded in some cases. By the end of the war, the Confederate president, Jefferson Davis, was dressing like a woman. Of course, the South lost.

None of this was necessary and could have been avoided had the South merely freed its slaves in 1860.

There is a big difference between supporting voluntary emigration and forcibly removing. But I sometimes forget that you live in a fantasy world where your confederacy was a sovereign nation and where Lincoln started the war. So some puzzle-headedness on your part is to be expected.
