40 parishioners. Glad to see The Episcopal Church has such a robust congregation in the Nation's Capitol, now that they are "inclusive" and everything.

I was thinking the same thing. There are many reasons for small congregations . . . just starting up, rural area with small population, a "mission" church in a new area . . . or they are a dying church that does not teach God's word, and subsequently, don't meet the spiritual needs of the congregation.

Wonder which one this is?

Naw, it was prolly the early service. He didn’t want to be too disruptive, doncha know, so he stayed away from the well attended service with the Praise Band and powerpoint projector beaming the choruses on the wall.

Wait, that’s Fr. Pfleger’s church.

No, Pfleger has the strobe lights. It’s that megachurch in Hammond whose pastor is pastoring Barry via Blackberry that has the praise band and the powerpoints.

At the early service at St. John Episcopal the prolly use the 1928 Prayer Book. Better for the kids, ya know.
